Doodle Drawing

I love to doodle. Just pick up a marker and go to town. Where ever the pen takes me. I start with a larger blank piece of mix media paper and a sharpie:
I usually start with one line about one third of the way up the paper (the bottom of Blooms) I add to it and just grow it from there. The key is to just let go. Don't think about it just fill in the spaces. There are lots of books out there that have filler doodles in them but I choose to just let it happen.
I may grow a doodle into something more:
This will become a painting. I drew it on canvas and will use acrylic paint on it.
Here's another example: This is on Mixed media paper and done with markers. I am using it on another project cutting it up and reassembling it.
Doodling is fun and easy! There is no right or wrong just a great exercise for your fingers and brain.
So go grab those markers and get your exercise in today.
Later
Merry
