Today I decided to make a daily schedule that I can follow to accomplish my goals for Dottie Bee Merry. I am trying to grow my business and make it my source of income. I've spent some time experimenting with different materials and making some discoveries about talents that I have.
Today's post is all about the clay side of my business. I've been working on a spring line called Easter Parade.
I've decided that there are 4 major players in this year's line. Duckbert, Lala Lamb, Chickie and Cotton the bunny.
I have worked the line to include a tiny sitter, roly-poly charm, flat charm and full charm. See the picture below for the Duckbert line!
As my goals grow and the line does too I'll be sure to share.
I have two more pics for Easter. I'm trying to decide if I want to put these pieces in my Etsy shop or if I should just stick to shows for the small items. They sell really well at shows because customers can touch and sift through a bin to find their favorite. Maybe I'll try selling them as a set.
Here are the other pics from today's work!
The top pic is Duckbert and Chickie tiny sitters. They only measure 1 inch tall and are perfect for the printers boxes that everyone seems to have.
The bottom photo is my inspire me pile. I gather all the pieces I've made in the past to use as inspiration for new pieces.
Today was all about setting a goal and sticking to it. I made the goal of claying from 7 to 10 this morning and look what I was able to accomplish.
Working on this blog is another goal. I picked 10 dates in January to post new things and share what I've been working on.
I hope you will enjoy this post and look for the next on January 6th!
Merry
